I've done the distance thing before. It's hard, but not impossible. And one year passes very quickly.

I just attended the wedding of a friend I met the first day of law school, who married the woman he dated in college, and then long-distance throughout law school. They only saw each other on school breaks, and I have no doubt it was hard, but they did it, and there's nothing at all they can't face together now. Best wishes.
